Will it charge through my countertop?
If your countertop is non-metallic and 50mm (2 inches) or thinner, yes. That covers standard porcelain, quartz, granite, marble, wood, and glass surfaces. No need to thin or modify the surface, it works as-is.
How does installation work?
The InvisaCharge puck adheres to the underside of your surface. No drilling, no cutting, no fabricator. Simply attach the charger underneath, place the included resonator pad on top of the countertop above it, plug in the DC power cable, and you're done. Total install time: under 10 minutes.
Does my phone need to be in an exact spot?
No, that's a common problem with competing chargers. InvisaCharge gives you ±20mm of horizontal freedom (~40mm total zone). Set your phone down in the general area. It charges.
How fast does it charge?
Up to 10W for Samsung, 7.5W for iPhone, 5W for other Qi phones. Slower than a cable plugged directly into the wall, but the point is you're charging without thinking about it. Set your phone on the counter while you cook, work, or eat. It charges while you live.
Does it work with phone cases?
Works with standard phone cases. Metal cases or cases with metal plates will block the signal, that's true of all Qi charging, not just InvisaCharge.
Can I use it outside the kitchen?
Absolutely. Kitchen island, office desk, nightstand, conference room table, hotel lobby, bar counter, anywhere with a non-metallic surface. One of our customers installed 11 units in a 35-foot quartz bar.
